Not only is Michel Gondry a cult director, he's also responsible for some of this decade's most memorable visual mind fucks. It would make sense then, that his website exude the same off-kilter charm of his films or indeed the man himself.

Take for instance the products on sale. Amongst the T-Shirts and "Disasterology Calendars" which Science Of Sleep fans will surely buy in bulk is this: "Michel Gondry will personally draw and sign your portrait based off of the photo that you submit via email. This personalized collectable can also be incorporated onto any item sold through this website." Considering the rabid nature of Gondry's fanbase and the fact that a portrait will only cost you 20 American dollars Gondry has some serious RSI ahead of him.

If a portrait doesn't float you boat you can also use Gondry's ideas as toilet paper as the site explains: "Michel's notes, sketches and other random thoughts printed on Toilet Paper - Wipe your ass with Michel's good ideas. 2-Ply 500 sheets per role (sic). Printed with soy based inks and individually shrink wrapped."
