Finally Some Cool Kids Down Under  January 30, 2008

Back in the United States, everybody and their dog knows who the Cool Kids are. However, I've encountered incomparable confusion every time I've mentioned the Chi-town duo while in Sydney. So now that the lads are preppin' to visit y'all's fine country, I feel it's my duty (and pleasure) to introduce you to the famous Chuck and Mikey.

The two young lads hail from Chicago, Illinois (hence "Chi-town") and rep the city well. They bring and old-school vibe musically by spitting viscous flows over decelerated beats. On the other hand, the loud colors they don indicate a more modern fashion sense. The least common denominator seems to be that everything they do is, well, cool.

I can promise you from both my experience and my friend's (different shows, but both were in L.A.) that you won't be disappointed if you trek out to catch these cats Down Under. Dates are below, but first let's hit up a fire song and a fresh video:
