With a name like the "Artisan Guild And Curiosity Shop" we half-expected Sydney's newest pop-up to stock archaic threads like tweed pantaloons and dusty monocles or fantastical rarities like "vibe compasses" or "bottled whimsy". OK we made those last two up but imagine if vibe compasses were real. Just imagine. No more conversational black holes or annoying/unshakable acquaintances and you'd always find the secret punchbowl and true My Bloody Valentine fans. It'd be rad - but I digress.
The shop, headed by Marsu Homme will open for 2 months and customers will be able to select from new and vintage curiosities, objects, accessories, jewellery and shoes from labels including Beat Poet, Saint Augustine Academy, Elke Kramer, Matt Weston, Toby Jones, Izrock (Joe Allen), Phil Young and Isson and Fiction Eyewear (with a range of limited edition customized retro glasses for the Marsu Homme store).
The store will also offer a strictly limited 2 for 1 on select styles of Marsu Homme shoes - available only in store one for the night, one for the day.
