Hey guys remember that 6 Beers Of Separation competition run by Tooheys Extra Dry? You know, the one where you try to meet your personal hero by having six beers with six different people to get within stalking striking distance. Well the lucky four contestants have been announced. Unfortunately I am not one of them - Natalie Portman you're safe for now...
The four contestants are Matthew a 25 year old graphic designer from The Sunshine Coast who wants to meet skater turned Jackass Bam Margera. Meaghan a musician from Sydney who wants to meet Good Charlotte because "I admire how they have evolved in music and still remain rockingly relevant." I'm going to assume Meghan works in music PR or has cut off her own ears. Ruwan a multi-tasking Brisbanite wants to meet Director extraordinaire Dave Meyers who has worked with the likes of Apple, Nike and Jay-Z. And last but not least budding comedian Oliver wants to meet Gob himself Will Arnett (possibly the greatest television character of all time).
The show airs online in April so keep an eye out for exactly how these guys plan on inching closer to their heroes. Will they have to grovel, lie or pimp out their bodies? Will they have to negotiate a wall of security? Will people think they're crazy? It sounds like hard work but at least they'll have six free beers for their trouble.
