So uh, um, wow. Yeah. Fuck. MGMT's second record is going to be produced by the Chemical Brothers. Oh and it's going to be a double album. You're excited right?

""We'll experiment with them to create a different sound, they have this psychedelic side to them, so we'll find common ground."

That should work like a charm as the band have described the next MGMT record as consisting of one "pop" side and the other disc filled with "psychedelic music".

So MGMT have brought their hippie-pscyh-bliss steez to the mainstream pop people and now they're hunting down the untz untz crowd. World domination can't be far off.
