PEDESTRIAN.TV has partnered with Ultimate Ears Wireless Speakers because they've just dropped a music + travel lover's soon-to-be-favourite product, the WONDERBOOM. Seeing as it's waterproof and packs 10hr batter life, there ain't many reasons to leave home without – especially when you're travelling. Head HERE to learn more.

As a wise man once said, "Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty." Look, this might sound outlandish, but there's a semblance of truth to that statement if you really think about it. Us humans love all things whose byproduct is wetness. Beaches, lakes, rivers, you bloody name it – as long as it's not a polluted mess, we'll embrace whatever body of water that's presented to us. Then again, we probably get so hard over water because we need it to survive, but whatever.

Of all our world's watery things, there's one that standouts out from the rest and humbly accepts its 'Most Beautiful' mantle: waterfalls. Yep, for whatever reason we can't get enough of rain that falls atop a mountain, follows the basic rules of gravity and cascades over rocks to form a puddle.

But we're not here to comment on the WHY, we're here to enlighten y'all of the WHERE. Call your mates, pack your car up and head to one of these offensively beautiful waterfalls around Australia that you can frolic in to your heart's content.

UPPER GLEDHILL FALLS – Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, New South Wales

Well would you have a look at this lil' slice of paradise? Ku-Ring-Gai National Park is packed with marvels of nature, so consider exploring some of its trails before heading back to this waterfall to cool off.

SPA POOL – Karijini National Park, Western Australia

Yeah. That's a place that exists IRL. The curved walls of the crystal blue swimming spot Spa Pool have been carved out for yonks, mostly by its crowning glory: that nek-level waterfall. You'll need to hike for around 30 minutes to get there, but you'll probably be glad to hear that it's nothing too strenuous.

MILLAA MILLAA FALLS – Millaa Millaa, Queensland

Look familiar? You might have seen Millaa Millaa Falls in a Herbal Essence ad way back when, which is fair enough because why the hell WOULDN'T you shoot something here?!

LADIES BATH FALLS – Mount Buffalo National Park, Victoria

Look, we'll be straight with you: we've got no idea why it's called Ladies Bath Falls. Regardless, it's quite the spot. Get around it immediately.

FLORENCE FALLS – Litchfield National Park, Northern Territory

Look, we completely understand if you're not about a long walk to see nature at its finest. Besides being GAWJUS, this is one of Florence Falls' main draws – it's just a three minute walk to get there from the carpark. Now this is living, Barry.

DIP FALLS – Dip Falls Reserve, Tasmania

Alright, in all fairness there’s not a whole lot to physically swim in at Dip Falls. That being said, Tasmania’s so chilly most of the time that the last thing you’d probably want to be doing in taking a dip anyway. What you can do here, however, is capture enough ‘Gram content to last you a lifetime.

There's more waterfalls in Australia than you could poke a bloody stick at. There's also an outrageous amount of stunning bodies of water, national parks and so on. There really ain't no reason not to be getting around our land that's girt by sea's best bits whenever possible (like this long weekend, for example).

Take your enjoyment levels to new heights by grabbing yo'self a WONDERBOOM – Ultimate Ears Wireless Speakers' latest product. This bad boy's packing a 10hr battery life and is no joke waterproof. Seriously, what could be better than lounging around a waterfall all day listening to your fave bangers? Not a whole lot. Learn more about WONDERBOOM HERE
