News.

This tear-jerking video comes courtesy of the Opie and Anthony Show on SiriusXM radio. The footage was shot after the show's Producers enlisted a homeless man, Daniel Mustard, to voice over a promo then found out he could sing. Here Mustard does an acoustic version of Radiohead's Creep with a slightly different take on the vocal phrasing and years and years of pathos in the delivery.

I think someone has been had....
and is the music is somehow better because he's -theoretically- homeless? It's really pretty bad, if we used profi standards to judge it....

I wont lie, the homelessness adds to it, but realistically we all buy into image, the rough exterior, the raspy voice, the emotion that poured out while singing that song definitely made this amazing. i would love to hear him cover some other songs.

I don't know what Heartley thinks it is talking about, this is clearly amazing. A soulful reinterpretation of a very popular song, exponentially better than any street performer I've ever seen (and even many active "professional" bands). This is what music is supposed to be all about. I wonder if he has any original stuff.

Not all homeless people have lived in poverty their entire lives. Maybe it's the one thing he's held on to from his previous life.

Homeless or not, this guy has a voice that is great for the genre. Alternative/Grunge music doesn't require a choir voice. It's one of those voices that gets your attention, it stands out. You LISTEN to it.

I'm not a fan of Radiohead, but I really like his take on that song. Of course, I'm not one of the people that like pop music, either.

Awesome job. I hope this guy gets some attention and puts out some other music... :)

The producers gave him a shopping spree for clothes and lent him the guitar. He is for real ... in more ways than one.
