If your balls are usually "to the wall" and you think shredding involves guitars instead of lettuce you'll love "Mind Eraser, No Chaser" the new track from Them Crooked Vultures. We previewed the super group's debut track "New Fang" last week and their latest cut finds Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones inhabiting the same sinewy, testosterone filled territory.
This time however, Grohl and Homme trade vocal duties, lines about pissing on the sheets and razor blades and finish with a plodding brass outro that doesn't appear in the live version. Songs For The Deaf style interlude perhaps? Who knows. Whatever the reason we like what we hear, unashamed thrashing should happen way more often.
