News.
Our friends at Chugg Entertainment today confirmed that the queen of country, Dolly Parton will be hitting our shores this November! Are you as stupidly excited as us? Dolly’s arrival will be her first visit to Australia in nearly thirty years and is certain to be one of the milestone event of the summer tour season. Parton has had 24 number one singles including Jolene, 9 To 5, Here You Come Again and I Will Always Love You (pre-Whitney y'all). In addition to being a country music superstar, songwriting legend and amazing multi-instrumentalist, she is also a totally hilarious and super smart 65 year old sassy lady.
In a recent interview with UK music mag Q (via Bella Sugar), she dished on...
People ogling her legendary chest: I've slapped a few people who didn't stare at them! This kind of money, they'd better be looking at them. No, I've not insured my boobs. I just paid a million dollars for them and I hope they look like a million dollars, too!
Who should play her in a Dolly Parton biopic: There were rumours about Reese Witherspoon being up for the role, but we'd have to get her a big old boob job or a big old bra. I'm actually writing my life story as a musical* and I want Kristin Chenoweth to play me. People have asked, 'What about Taylor Swift?,' but she's too tall, too slim and has no boobs. She's like a supermodel. You'd have to saw her legs off at the knee.
*GASP! Can you imagine?! Me wants the precious.
