Empire Of The Sun dominated last night's ARIA music awards, winning the coveted Album of the Year gong as well as Single of the Year, Best Group, Best Pop Release, Best Music Video, Best Cover Art and Best Producer (with Sneaky Soundsystem's Donnie Sloan and Pnau's Peter Mayes).

Other big winners included Pip Brown aka Ladyhawke for Breakthrough Artist and Breakthrough Single of the year while Sarah Blasko and Daniel Merriweather took out Best Female and Male Artist respectively. But the night belonged to Emperor Steele and "Invisible Nick", a duo who tried to bring drama back to pop music...and succeeded. Congratulations boys.
