Anyone who remembers the 'good old' days of festivals when you sat back and relaxed whilst taking in some super sweet beats would revel in the goodness of The Golden Plains Festival.

For those that don't, either do I. Woodstock was a long time ago and too far away anyway. The Golden Plains Festival is a modern day version that's only been around for three years. So in festival life span it's only a toddler. A toddler that has been named Australia's Favourite Festival two years running by the 'Festival Awards'. Not so bad for an over achieving three year old.

Headliners Pavement were first announced a few weeks ago, but organisers have announced a further sixteen acts to hit the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in March next year. Indie lovers will appreciate headliners Pavement and rock legends Dinosaur Jr, whilst those torn by the indie/dance genre will enjoy tunes from local blokes The Midnight Juggernauts and Tame Impala. UK duo The Big Pink and the Dirty Projectors are also listed.
Check out the full line up below.

No doubt the 2010 version of the Golden Plains Festival will be all it's cracked up to be. And with the line up being released last week with all roads leading straight to 'Australia's Favourite Festival' for another year.
