Celebrating all things independent, the Australian Independent Record Labels Association have announced the nominees for this year's AIR Awards to be held in Melbourne's Forum Theatre on Sunday 22 November. Local heroes Sia, Dappled Cities, Decoder Ring, and The Drones lead the charge proving you don't need million dollar marketing budgets, 10,000 member street teams or majors to get recognition in Australia.
