When we wrote of Miranda Kerr's recent engagement to Orlando Bloom we joked that their resulting elf/pirate/angel offspring would somehow save mankind with its meteor deflecting beauty. Now, according to reports from Us Weekly, that hypothetical tangle of perfect DNA might be closer to existing than we think.
Speaking with Us Weekly a fellow Victoria's Secret Angel confirmed Kerr's pregnancy saying: "She's definitely pregnant ... Miranda's thrilled...She's telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it."
This might explain the couple's haste between engagement and marriage as well as David Jones' decision to temporarily excuse Kerr from her ambassadorial duties at the department store's upcoming Spring/Summer fashion launch (Abbey Lee Kershaw, Catherine McNeil, Nicole Trunfio and Alexandra Agoston have since been announced announced as replacements).
Despite the shaky validity of unnamed sources, one thing's for sure - unlike sitcom characters who get abducted by aliens, develop stress eating disorders or explore a baggier wardrobe Kerr's line of work doesn't lend itself to masking pregnancies. Says the unnamed VS source: "She poses in lingerie. It will be obvious soon enough."
