James Franco is many things: actor, writer, filmmaker, gay rights activist - but there are few things that he does better than being painfully good looking (hence our tendency to throw in gratuitous Franco content at every given opportunity). The latest campaign for Gucci Sport, the new fragrance for men, features a fully clothed Franco hoisting himself out of a body of water.
Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini said: "James Franco is perfect for this fragrance and perfect for Gucci. He personifies the sort of nonchalance and unforced appeal that is most attractive in a man... He captures the fragrance's casual, modern and masculine air."
Sure. Nice try, Giannini: we all know you just wanted to see boyfriend in a wet t-shirt, didn't you?
Well, fortunately for you, so does about 50% of the population.
It's a bit confusing though: this product is for the use of men, correct? So, based on the campaign images below, do you think Gucci's campaign is targeted at:
A. The male homosexual demographic. Der.
B. Heterosexual women who have hots for James Franco and want her (presumably non-Franco) man lover to smell as Franco does.
C. All men. Because everyone loves Franco.
D. Can you get over him? I generally don't dig the cut of his jib.
