Who better to design a lingerie collection than a person who wears lingerie for a living? Diminutive 1940s throwback and neo-burlesque icon Dita Von Teese has designed a vintage-inspired lingerie collection for Target Australia which is fabulously hip of Target Australia.
We can appreciate that this being Target and not Agent Provocateur, the line will be affordable and so the lace may not necessarily be re-embroidered Alencon but - based on the preview below - it's clear that Ms Von Teese's decidedly sexy retro aesthetic is all over it: corsets, garter belts and leopard print abound.
The collection lands in stores and via Target.com.au as of Wednesday 8 February.
