News.
In a recent interview with Triple J, Candian rapper K-OS explained how his single, "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman", reached the actress herself:
"A friend of mine who works at a TV station in Canada interviewed her, and he recently sent me some footage where at the end of the interview he kind of pulls out his computer, and he was like, "Have you ever heard of K-OS?" And she was like, "Yeah, I have heard of him." And he was like, "You know he has a song called 'I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman'?" And she was with the director of her film being interviewed, and she kind of looked over at him, super surprised but kind of humbled by it. So, like, he plays it to her in the interview, and her face is just like, she can't believe it. It was a really cool moment."
Naturally K-OS's Portmania got us to thinking about the many ways in which every human on Earth is obsessed with Natalie Portman. Of course, this fascination not only comes from creepy basement dwelling Star Wars freaks but other famous people too. Below we have compiled but ten examples of Portman love in popular culture.
1) K-OS - "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman"
2) Natalie Portman's Shaved Head - "Sophisticated Side Ponytail"
3) Sex, Drugs and Natalie Portman (2003)
Written and Directed by then-film student Chad Peter, "Sex, Drugs and Natalie Portman" is a two part film that follows a couple of Portman fanatics as they seek a magical pill that simulates the euphoria experienced directly after having sex with her. Weird.
4) Team Sleep (Deftones side project) - "Natalie Portman"
5) Ghostface Killah dedicated his track "Stapleton Sex" to the actress saying: "I read an interview where Natalie Portman said she likes dirty rap, obscene lyrics and all that. I figure she can dance to this one. I'm looking for you Natalie!" Sample lyrics: "You can put my d*ck in your mouth and play with my nuts. But before I bust babe I think I"ll cum in your butt".

6) After first meeting in 2002, Portman soon became designer Zac Posen's muse. "She exemplified everything that I love in women," he said "She has spirit, spunk and panache."
7) Devendra Banhart - Carmensita
8) The menu of NYC based Japanese restaurant Chef's Secret boasts a dish called the Natalie Portman - a lobster and seaweed salad served with wasabi and Japanese mayo.

9) Pasadena band Ozma also has a track called "Natalie Portman"
10) Stila cosmetics has a lip gloss named after her.
