Amidst a vast, boner-inducing array of anime, manga, fantasy fiction, graphic novels, video games, toys and other pop culture paraphernalia that points to poor eyesight and limited sexual activity, San Diego's annual nerd-fest Comic Con premiered a brand new trailer for the Daft Punk scored Tron: Legacy - the sequel to 1982's revolutionary cult hit Tron.

Aside from setting up the film's premise via a somewhat cheesy father/son bedtime scene, the trailer showcases some jaw-dropping action scenes comprised of slick, fluorescent eye candy (which manages to seamlessly combine the original's iconic aesthetics with modern CGI technology), a soundtrack that may or may not be composed by the aforementioned French robots and a stoic denial of paternity (or reverse Darth Vader in nerd parlance). I mean it's a lot of hard work and the results are impressive, actually really impressive, but he made a Daft Punk helmet at the end of the day. Now what? Off to work?
