Flight Of The Conchords duo Jemaine Clement (the awkward bespectacled one) and Bret McKenzie (the awkward hirsute one) will soon tour Australia, triple j reports.
In an interview with Billboard.com McKenzie revealed plans for an imminent Australian tour: "We're about to tour Australia and New Zealand. We haven't toured there in years. Whereas we've been in America recently and I don't want to tour America until we've got some new material...Being on tour means we’ll be in the same place. It’s been difficult to get things going because we’ve been living in different cities. We haven’t developed a Skype band meeting system yet.”
The duo have been exceedingly busy since wrapping a two season run on their popular HBO television series. McKenzie will appear in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit and was a Musical Supervisor on The Muppets for which he earned an Oscar nod. Clements, meanwhile, will appear as the alien Boris in the third installment of Men In Black.
