To the untrained eye, Coldplay's Christ Martin is the insufferable, fair trade-spruiking frontman of the blandest band in Middle (of the road) Earth. A vanilla uber-celebrity with an equally as annoying spouse named Gwyneth and a daughter named after a piece of fruit. But c'mon guys, Chris Martin is actually pretty likeable.

Yes, despite the mopey film clips, stadium ready falsetto and military regalia he's likeable because he has a sense of humour. Take Martin's recent Simpsons debut for example. The jokes are self-deprecating and as fans of Ricky Gervais' hilarious "Extras" will attest - Martin pulls it off well. Never forget, a sense of humour is the thin white line that separates Chris Martin and Bono on the douche spectrum.

Yes, Chris Martin is very funny...I never liked him until Viva La Vida came out...and then I fell in love with his music. Chris is not only funny but he is so talented...It is not Chris who is lucky to be with Gwyneth...it is Gwyneth who is soooo lucky to be with Chris .....he is adorable !!!!
