Today is World AIDS Day a day to promote both preventative measures against the spread of HIV AIDS and behavioural changes to curb its growth. To help, stars in the worlds of sport, music, fashion and art have offered their services to raise both money and awareness and here are a few of our favourites...

First up is an initiative from Nike, launched today, which aims to educate and medicate the citizens of Africa against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The launch was attended by soccer superstars Didier Drogba, Joe Cole and Lucas Neill as well as U2 frontman Bono. This unique partnership delivers a two-pronged approach to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa by delivering funds to support programs that offer education and medication on the ground and will harness the power of sport to engage youth around the world in the fight against AIDS in Africa.

Secondly is this new Killers Video for "Happy Birthday Guadalupe" which not only features Luke Perry but the Mexican incarnation of The Bronx, Wild Light and Mariachi El Bronx. Even if The Killers aren't your cup of tea this song is actually pretty listenable. Plus, you know, it's for charity.

Buy the track here! All proceeds go to The Global Fund.

Next up is a collaboration between Stella McCartney and the Gap (below) which you can purchase through selected Gap outlets and online. 50% of the proceeds will go to The Global Fund.

And finally Proper Attire condoms and iconic street artist the late Keith Harring have combine for a run of condoms sold exclusively at Mondrian in South Beach throughout Art Basel. All proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.
