Acceptable reasons for not yet seeing the trailer for Spike Jonze's "Where The Wild Things Are" include blindness, death and an Arctic relocation. So ubiquitous is its coverage, so universal is its appeal, so hyperbolic is its praise the film has enjoyed cult status before anyone has even seen it.

To further fuel the WTWTA fire, check out the below video courtesy of Spike Jonze's Blog. In it we're treated to an impromptu "focus group" where the scariness of masks are tested on children. Not as evil as you may think, though Spike does resort to lying to coax a reaction, and comes perilously close to making a toddler cry. Thankfully he isn't a maniacal douche bag and stops just short of forcing waterworks - you almost made us hate you Spike, you almost made us hate you.
